  • Those are the kinds of questions on exams that almost drive me nuts.

    Which is why I advocate taking and "appreciating" the practice exams. Sometimes the only way you can get a question right is to understand the mind-set of the tests authors through exposure.

    Sometimes it's a matter of historical evidence, like your example. Which occurred first?

    Sometimes it's by degree or opinion - which one breaks faster, or which is more accepted in the industry.

    And sometimes, like many Cisco or CISSP exam questions, it's a matter of "speaking the right language" -

    Which on any exam, like it or not, is always [u]their[/u] "language".

    The best thing to do, is to do your best, and not let it distract/spook you on the rest of the exam.
