  • Hello Mr. Finley,
I completely agree with Dev-(Kev) that the CWAP book is right on the money. However there are two other books that I deem "must read". They are(1) The IEEE Handbook.....Designers Guide and (2)Matthew Gast's 802.11 Handbook....Definitive Guide. Although I discovered Matthew Gast's first edition a couple years ago, I have found that it(2nd edition) is required reading for all CWNP certs. The IEEE is of utmost importance for the CWNA, CWSP and CWAP tests and developing a thorough understanding of the inner workings of 802.11. I have been reading and re-reading the CWAP book for about five months and still learn something new everytime. So keep on pressing and I'll keep on pressing. Pay attention to the explanations in the CWAP official practice test. I plan to attempt the exam in about three weeks and know that it is a steep climb.
