Multiple Atheros chipset cards in laptop - driver problem

    If my memory serves me correct, this is found in the .inf file for your atheros card.

    Here is a capture from a net5211.inf file (notice on the bottom of the file ATHER.Service.DispName)This parameter can be found in the bottom of your .inf file (not sure where it ends up after install)


    Atheros_Disk = "Atheros Driver Disk 1"
    ATHER.DeviceDesc.0012 = "Atheros AR5001X Wireless Network Adapter"
    ATHER.DeviceDesc.1021 = "Atheros AR5001A Cardbus Wireless Network Adapter"
    ATHER.DeviceDesc.1022 = "Atheros AR5001X Cardbus Wireless Network Adapter"
    ATHER.DeviceDesc.2022 = "Atheros AR5001X Mini PCI Wireless Network Adapter"
    ATHER.DeviceDesc.0013 = "Atheros AR5001X+ Wireless Network Adapter"
    ATHER.Service.DispName = "Atheros AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter Service"

    I hope this helps point you in the right direction. I did this modification awhile back on my old laptop with 2 PC card slots.
