Is there a practical maximum for the number of b/g clients?

    Hi All,

    We are been asked to support ever larger numbers of b/g clients in relatively small areas (across 3 or 4 buildings). I now have customers wanting to support 1000+ clients and given the limitations of b/g (busy spectrum, 3 overlapping channels etc etc..) I am having MAJOR doubts that it end up being a practically useable solution.

    I would really like to advise against it, or at the very least set some expectations. Is there any RF math that can help me work it if it is a viable solution?
