Hello everyone
Its been a long time since I have been on normally only when I want a quick question answered as in this case!! Also doesn't time fly when you get notification you need to re-certificate!!!

Any way does anyone know if there are potential gotchas when deploying the Cisco 1600 access point in full autonomous mode into a WLAN with Cisco 1242 autonomous units?
I know I should read the manuals etc but I am a lazy so and so

What specific issues are you concerned about? Autonomous mode APs typically have the same issues: careful channel planning and assignment or monitored use of automatic channel selection (though I prefer not to use this for autonomous deployments). Give us more details about your concerns.

I am specifically interested in the interoperability of mixing the two types, such as client roaming, IAPP, DSM etc.

Success Stories
