Is it possible to mix Cisco Aironet Access Points 802.11g (AIR-AP1231G-A-k9) with Cisco wireless client cards (AIR-PI21AG-E-K9) i.e mix FCC with ETSI and if so what would the incompatibility issues?
They will work together provided that they are using the same channel; however, you should make sure that you are not violating the regulatory authority's rules wherever you are using the devices together. For example, if you use that same Cisco AP and Cisco PC Card with an 802.11a radio in Europe, they must comply with 802.11h (TPC & DFS).
Thanks for the reply.
I thought as much just need to check.
