    Hi,

    As explained in your earlier post that the compatibility between 11b short and long only is not a big problem.Since since station adopts CCA also.(station can sense RF energy.)

    So, why they have introduced the barker bit in 11g.All 11g stations can send CTS/RTS during protection using short preamble itself.

    Please correct me if I misunderstood the standard.
