Any plans on updating the CWDP exam and if yes- when?

This is a recent certification, as things go, so I would not assume it would be changed soon.    The study guide was published in 2011, so I would expect 2015 at the soonest.

You should call/email CWNP to get an official answer, if you are concerned about it.   They almost always give a heads-up, here on the site, several months before a change.

The CWDP is not on our roadmap for change this year but due to the ratification of 802.11ac we could pull it in to late 2014.
