  • Hi,

Has anyone referred to or know about "CCNA Wireless 640-722 Official Cert Guide" for preparing CWNA exams? I flipped through it and seems well written.

    By the way,

I have already read CWNA Official Guide by David C. and CWNA AIO by Tom C.

    Thanks and regards,

  • I passed 640-721 last January and I'm preparing CWNA now. In can say  CWNA is more detailed about protocols and how 802.11 works while Cisco's manual is more focused about the implementation and skips many important concepts.

I prefer CWNA so far but I really think both are needed to design and deploy a good wifi network.

CWNA is hands down a better technical cert than the Cisco ones (sorry Cisco).  I have both CCNA and CCNP wireless and found the CWNA to be a more technically challenging exam.  I agree that Cisco's is much more focused towards their gear and solutions, if you are going to be deploying their stuff (which the likely answer is yes) then it's definitely worth having their certs.  I'm not sure there is much in the CCNA-W studying that will help with CWNA.
