Another Power saving Technology for Wi-Fi.
Unlike Wi-Fi HaLow, this technology makes use of back scatter radiation (similar to some RFID technologies), to power "passive" nodes.
It is claimed to reduce power requirements by as much as a factor of 10,000.
IMO, it's like some other power generation schemes based on 802.11 signals and may cause interference for other Wi-Fi networks.
Still, it's intriguing.
