  • No, the 802.11w standard does not cover all L-2 attack vectors.  In fact many attacks, including jamming of course, may never be stopped.

    WIPS systems also have to operate differently now, as their two most powerful tools, broadcast de-autherntications and disassociation frames will be ignored.
