• Chapter 3 says about the High Rate / DSSS PLCP Preamble and PLCP Header speeds (p.139/140):

    It is important to note here that, even though HR/DSSS uses a short preamble of 72 bits versus the 144 bits of a long preamble, the PLCP Preamble and the PLCP Header are still transmitted at 1Mbps for backward compatibility with 802.11 Prime. (..) The PLCP Header remains at its previous length of 48 bits but is now transmitted at 2Mbps.

    I assume that with HR/DSSS only the PLCP Preamble is send at 1 Mbps and the PLCP Header is sent at 2 Mbps?
