Wi-Fi Question of the Day (QOTD)

Wi-Fi Question of the Day (QOTD)

Given: Hijacking occurs when an attacker configures a software access point with the same SSID as a valid access point, but a different channel. The attacker then jams the channel used by the valid access point, forcing stations to roam and reassociate to the software access point. The attacker may then use auditing tools to scan the victim's computer.

What measures can be taken to provide protection against hijack attack vulnerabilities?
