Wi-Fi Technical Nugget - Configuring WLAN Profiles with Group Policy
By CWNP On 01/17/2013 - 21 CommentsMany people have asked me if there is a way to centrally configure WLAN profiles in Microsoft environments over the years. Indeed, there is, using Group Policy. This video demonstrates the basic process.
The Wi-Fi Technical Nugget series of videos will be focused on brief demonstrations of actual tasks wireless administrators may be required to perform. In this nugget, you see the simple process used to create WLAN profiles using Windows Server Group Policy Objects to automatically push the settings to Windows client computers. Windows 8 and Server 2012 also introduce new Group Policies, though the wireless profile policies are little changes. You can read more about the new Group Policy changes here. You can view it here on the CWNPTV YouTube channel, http://youtu.be/45We3oqbW7Q, or below.
