Ok, just to clear up some of these questions.
    - the AP1500s are outdoor mesh APs running a proprietary wireless mesh protocol called Adaptive Wireless Path (AWP) that is optimized for wireless routing in a mesh environment
    - they use the LWAPP protocol for controller communication
    - they are MIL-spec, NEMA enclosures capable of being powered via DC current from lightpoles/traffic lights or via a power injector sold with the kit
    - they have two radios, one for backhaul (.11a right now) and one for local access (.11g) but the .11a radio is also capable of working as a 4.9GHz radio for public safety
    - they are not WiMAX nor MIMO capable
    - they are capable of supporting multiple VLANs/SSIDs
    - QOS is not yet included (coming soon)
    - they are Wi-Fi compliant
    - they will work with existing Airespace controllers and provide for seamless indoor-to-outdoor L2/L3 roaming
