    I believe the draft is working to combine power saving modes at both the STA and AP/Controller so that packets are buffered and delivered properly across different vendor solutions. That way it won't matter if you've got a Spectralink phone on a Symbol infrastructure or Cisco Airespace or Aironet infrastructure... the phone's battery life will be consistent.
