If you look carefully at the titles in the trailer, you will see the name of one of the producers...Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. Mick owns one of the original machines. The main actor is Doug Ray Scott (From Desperate Housewives !!).

If you take a look at the matrix diagrams in the wiki link you may be able to recognize patterns similar to the DES encryption matrices (once again, there are very, very few modern "inventions" that do not have their roots in technologies from may moons ago).

For those who have taken their CWSP or are just looking to get a better undertstanding of how encryption really works, reading up on Enigma is a good start. There are tons of references on the Internet.
