Symbol are introducing a new wireless switch, the RFS7000:

It is a dual-core system, supporting up to 256 lightweight APs, versus the maximum 48 on the WS5100.

They also mention support for 802.11n access ports, so presumably a new lightweight AP is on the way very soon.

It runs the new Wi-NG code (version 3.x), which I have to say from what I have seen on the WS5k is very well engineered. Hopefully we will see some interesting new developments from Symbol/Motorola in the coming months as they roll new features out and announce pricing.
