Diversity and OFDM

Just been told by someone that using diversity with OFDM makes no difference. Looking to deploy Cisco 1200's with the 2 antennas for diversity using 802.11g. But this guy is saying that there is no point with OFDM and may aswell stick with a single antenna. This is an environment that is a brewery warehouse, with millions of metal cans and kegs, so reflections (multipath) will play a part I would have thought.

Now this guy is generally pretty good, I respect him and he generally knows what he is talking about. But in this case I thought I would seek a second opinion. Anyone have any thoughts or even facts about the benefits of diversity when using OFDM?

Success Stories
