I was just viewing the Train Signal training sample, and decided it looked pretty good.

It got me to wondering though, if there are any websites that show actual ripple (aka wave) tank experiments of all these phenomena. I found one or two, and even a Chinese one, but nothing that did a really good job.

I remember doing these back in high school physics, and how well they showed up on the projection screen under the tank. Not to put down graphic simulations, but being able to see the real thing (even if at a very reduced frequency) is just so much better.
