I noticed there are a lot of posts about SSIDs lately in the forums, so I thought I would start another SSID post for fun. Over the last 10 years I have always enjoyed seeing the creative SSIDs configured by both companies and individuals. Two of my all-time favorites:

[b]SST-PR-1[/b] - Years ago this SSID drove a lot of early adopters of Wireless Instruction Detection Systems (WIDS) crazy! Read Zaib Kaleem's blog to find out what SST-PR-1 means:

There are even web sites dedicated to funny SSIDs:

Furthermore, companies and individuals have used SSIDs for advertising. This has happened a lot in both San Francisco and London:

Success Stories

I literally just came out of the testing centre having taken the CWDP exam. The certification process opened my mind to different techniques and solutions. This knowledge can only broaden your perspective. Great job, CWNP, you have a great thing going on here.
