    I would like to know why wpa wont work in wds??

    Hi Vikki:

    WPA, also known as TKIP, can work with Wireless Distribution System (WDS). Some vendors have not supported this feature.

    For example Apple supported WPA first between client station and access point (AP) and later between AP and AP over WDS.
