  • Hello everybody,
I am Sagar Shah. I have done my MS in networking & telecommunications. I have knowledge of switching, routing, routing protocols, GSM, CDMA and VoIP. But I am a fresher in the industry and do not have any sorts of certification like CCNA or MCSE. Looking at the second edition of CWNA official study guide it seems that I can go ahead with it. But my question is- Is it necessary to go for a CCNA or MCSE before appearing for CWNA?
And, are there any sorts of simulation case study based questions in the CWNA exam?
I would be glad if anyone throws light in this regard.
    Thanks & Regards.
    Sagar Shah.

Candidates for CWNA should understand network fundamentals before attempting CWNA. The types of material you should be familiar with is what is tested on Network+ or CCNA. The CWNA Study Guide table of contents and taking a Look Inside the Book will give you an idea of what is covered under CWNA and should help you determine if you would be able to follow the material.
