So with the same dbi rated antenna, increasing the IR. power won't change its pattern (shape), will it change the pattern size maybe?

Am just trying to figure out what would work better, as a mini neighbourhood WISP (8-11 floor buildings), a higher rated dbi omni antenna with more IR. power, or should i just increase the IR. power keeping the pattern as it is..

I know this's not the best approach to WiFi cover areas with tall enough buildings, but am just wondering what would be the best.
