Need Help w/ Small WLAN Implementation

Hello,
I'm looking for some guidance in helping a friend implement a wireless network at his restaurant. Any assistance with best practices and cost-efficiency are greatly appreciated!
This is what we have:
1. Point A is where the comcast line terminates and the wireless must begin. We will need an outdoor enclosure for a wireless router here.
2. Point B is the restaurant and outdoor seating area.
3. Point C is a dock and water area. We'd like boats that pull up to have access to our wireless network.
4. The entire area is open with excellent line of sight. There is a slight elevation from the back of the restaurant to the telephone pole across the tracks. The pole area is maybe 10 feet higher.
I was thinking along the lines of two wrt54g's with dd-wrt on them and aftermarket antennas. One would be a repeater in/around the restaurant.
I really, really appreciate any thoughts on this...if you're near Northern Virginia will buy you a beer down here.
:D
