  • I had a client where some disgruntled employee (we think) placed one of these in a receptionist's desk with it set to 5 second on -- 60 seconds off. When it was on, all the clients nearby moved to different channels. Thus overloading the other APs, by the time the RRM kicked in, the AirHorn signal was off, and so the overloaded APs moved the clients back to the channel to be jammed... just in time for the jam to drop them off again.

    It was a nightmare. These little AirHorn devices are insidious! (but very fun to play with ;-)
