802.11i broadcast/multicast

    Just looking for confirmation guys. In a RSN ( network ) is the GTK only used for broadcast/multicast frames from AP to STA.
    I mean, as far as I understand, if a STA wants to send a broadcast/multicast frames, it first sends it to the AP encrypted with the PTK and the AP relays it to all the STA encrypted with the GTK.
    Am I right ?
