  • While completing the CWNE application, I noticed the need for a vendor specific or vendor neutral certification in the following:

    Voice/QOS
    Routing and Switching
    Security
    Protocol Analysis

My question, are you able to use CWSP or CWAP as part of the vendor neutral requirements to gain points in these areas?

    Thanks - Chris

  • Since CWNA and CWSP are pre-requisites for application for CWNE, you cannot use those certifications in order to gain points toward CWNE.

  • Of the certifications you hold:

"Security+" OR "MCSA: Security" counts 10 points toward security

CCNA counts 10 points toward routing/switching
