If you are looking for something slightly more affordable, you might want to check out Metageek (http://www.metageek.net). Fluke and Airmagnet get their spectrum analyzer hardware from a company named Cognio which was recently bought by Cisco and re-branded as the Cisco Spectrum Expert. I own both a Metageek Wi-Spy and Wi-Spy DBx and have access to a Spectrum Expert at work...the Metageek DBx does most everything I need it to do and cost 25% the price of the Spectrum Expert.
